laptop batteries vs plugging into power outlets
Power and laptops are a big concern. And the state of our wireless network makes us a little nervous too though we are told it has been upgraded this summer.
With concrete floors, our option is drilling trenches and putting in the wireing OR installing a raised floor. We've seen one which is 2.5" high. We could have plugs and internet connections wherever we wanted them. [no cost info for either yet]
What do you think about the battery life problem?
Any experience successfully supplying power or plugin network access in an existing teaching space?
thanks, Anne

Laptop batteries are getting more and more attention these days as people are looking to go more wireless with their computing. Using your laptop outside at a café, pmi certification class with wifi access is becoming the norm these days and the one thing that many users are keying on is their laptop battery. Sometimes they want to carry extra batteries, replace their existing batteries because they are not keeping their charge, or change to a battery that offers more time on a single charge. I know about it all because i used laptop 24 hour for doing my oracle certification. And my laptop and its battery still okay. I am thinking to get one more novell certification with this laptop :) ............Because it has good battrie storage. What about your laptop?
