The instruction room at the Verman Kimbrough Memorial Library

This space has 10 tables and 20+ chairs that can be set up in a variety of formations. We use them most commonly in this "lecture style" seen above. They are also great to flexibly set up for smaller groups, or displaying materials like artist's books for people to walk around.

The only installed technology is the ceiling-mounted projector, as well as the instructor's computer (not pictured). Our students are all being issued Macintosh notebook computers during their freshman year, so they are asked to work wirelessly during class. Power outlets are an issue that we're trying to address.
