What do you struggle with when you teach?
What do you struggle with when trying to teach in your current classroom? This kind of info can be helpful to people designing new space or responding to architect drawings so do not hold back!
Our classroom is furnished with tables that include laptops (the table top flips up to reveal the laptop, or can fold down to create a flat surface). While it's convenient to have the computers in the classroom, the furniture and layout of the room is completely unmovable. The tables really can't be arranged to accommodate group work. The classroom is set up in the traditional layout in which the desks all face the front of the room. It would be great to have a) a larger space and b) mobile furniture that would encourage activity, discussion, and a variety of teaching / learning styles.
